Independent Contractors and your information

As part of our business plan to market and expand our business, offers additional services, which you may elect to use. Independent Contractors fill the following positions for the additional/optional services that we provide: (1) Resellers, and (2) Authorized Inventory Professionals (AIP’s). These individuals are not PROTECToVision LLC employees. A Reseller is an Independent Contractor that is only authorized to sell memberships to subscription website, and not authorized or trained as an Authorized Inventory Professional(AIP). An Inventory Professional is an Independent Contractor that has been trained in both positions and is qualified to perform and certify a home or business inventory.

Please utilize the same prudent home protection practices as you would use for any individual, sales person, or service company when you consider allowing them into your home or business by requiring referrals and/or recommendations before hiring anyone to perform a home or business inventory for you. Always safeguard your personal information and property and always change your password after the completion of any work (for hire) when your password has been divulged in the course of business. Never leave an Inventory Professional or Reseller alone in your home or business. (owned and marketed by PROTECToVision LLC) will not be held accountable or responsible for any Independent Contractors, so please take appropriate measures to safeguard your information and property. PROTECToVision LLC reserves the right to change our business plan as necessary and in any way it determines is in the best interest of our customers, investors, and owners.

We tell you how we use your information

When we ask you for information, we will tell you, — or it will be clear — what we need to know to fulfill your request and how the information you provide to us will be used. For example, if you register for our service, we will ask you for your name and contact information such as mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address. In addition to responding to your request, we may use your contact information to tell you about products or services we think might interest you or to invite you to participate in a product or service-related survey.

We do not sell or rent your personal information or client data to anyone.

Third parties are only provided the required information for their specific function: (1) iInventoryPro (owned and marketed by PROTECToVision LLC) may at times hire agents, consultants, and related third parties to perform certain business-related functions. Examples include maintaining a database or mailing information, (2) If required by law, legal process, warrant, court order or subpoena (or to protect its rights or property), PROTECToVision LLC will disclose Personal Data to the extend so required.

You can cancel your membership as provided in the Terms of Service. If you request cancellation of your membership, will destroy all personal data and inventory data within two business weeks of the receipt of your written request. Since some situations may arise at the end of the membership subscription period where there is no contact from the member possibly due to health or other factors that can lead to the inadvertent suspension of service, may at its option (when absent any written instructions from the member to terminate service) save the member’s personal data and inventory data for a period of up to two years. PROTECToVision LLC may also exercise its right to delete the personal data and inventory data of an expired member’s account within 30 days of the expiration of the membership.

Passwords and Email (owned and marketed by PROTECToVision LLC) takes reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data provided to our website from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction; however, no Internet or email transmission is ever totally guaranteed to be error free or fully secure. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to iInventoryPro/PROTECToVision LLC or any other recipient over the Internet. It is your responsibility to safeguard your password when accessing your membership to the website, and to change your password regularly.  Security Professionals recommend changing your password every 90 days.

Protection of Personal Information

PROTECToVision LLC takes the security of your personal information very seriously, and that is why we provide additional layers of security.  PROTECToVision LLC protects your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS) or other types of encryption.  Your personal data is stored by PROTECToVision LLC using a high-security product from Microsoft called Azure.  We also provide 256-bit encryption, the option to use 2-Step Authenitication (which can be selected “on” or “off” by the client), and 5-minute timeout after 3 failed log-in attempts. These measures have been taken to provide you with a multi-level approach to keep your information secure.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person.

You may be asked to provide your personal information anytime you are in contact with PROTECToVision LLC and its affilitates.   PROTECToVision LLC and its affiliates may share this personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy. They may also combine it with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising. You are not required to provide the personal information that we have requested, but, if you chose not to do so, in many cases we will not be able to provide you with our products or services or respond to any queries you may have.

Ads that are delivered by PROTECToVision LLC’s advertising platform may appear in Newsletters and in other media. If you do not wish to receive ads targeted to your interests, you can opt out.

PROTECToVision LLC and our affiliates also use cookies and other technologies to remember personal information when you use our website, online services, and applications. Our goal in these cases is to make your experience with PROTECToVision LLC more convenient and personal. Knowing your country and language − and if you are an educator, your school − helps us provide a customized and more useful experience. We understand the importance of taking extra precautions to protect the privacy and safety of children using PROTECToVision LLC products and services. Children under the age of 13, or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, are not permitted to create their own (owned and marketed by PROTECToVision LLC), unless their parent provided verifiable consent or as part of the child account creation process. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, outside the above circumstances we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
